Hello there. Today I’m using the Gracious Floral embossing folder (EF) and a very simple debossing technique recently shared by Jennifer McGuire.
Started by inking the raised side of the EF with white pigment ink. I would have used silver metallic pigment ink, but my ink pad was dry. Spritz a piece of blue cardstock with water next, then ran it through the die cutting machine in the EF.

The inked details get debossed into the cardstock, resulting in a reverse image. For even more contrast/dimension, inked up a rubber brayer with blue dye ink and rolled it over the panel. I would have stopped there but I tried covering up a mishap and ink blended around the edges with a dark blue dye ink. 😆 Heat embossed the sentiment from the Gracious Floral stamp set on white cardstock with Liquid Platinum embossing powder. Assembled the card onto a white card base and added some clear Fairy Dewdroos to finish.

Easy-peasy. Thank you for joining me today. Have a wonderful week.

I have seen that Jennifer’s video too, and want to try. Your card is just AMAZING and love the white!
This gives me some inspiration for a Christmas card using the poinsettia embossing folder I bought but never really used. I’ll bet it will be great with this color scheme! The card is amazing. I watched Jennifer’s video, too, and look forward to trying it! Thanks!
Stunning card Trina, I might just have to get that EF 🙂
You got awesome results with this technique with this beautiful embossing folder!
what a fabulous card I just love that colour and the embossing folder is so beautiful.

That is absolutely beautiful, Trina! I was drawn to the blue right away, and the debossing with the white ink just makes it spectacular. I must try that technique.
This card is so beautiful and elegant, Trina! What a great way to use this lovely embossing folder.
Gorgeous debossed floral, Trina! I saw Jennifer’s video too but haven’t gotten to that technique yet. You’re really inspired me with this card!!
