Hello Card
by Donna Sledzik

Hello everyone!  Today’s card uses paper scraps that we all have laying around, along with dies from the 2025 Summer Meadow release.

I began by covering a white cardstock panel with double sided tape and adhering strips of patterned paper to it.  I used all sizes of  paper strips and adhered them at an angle to add some interest to the background.  I trimmed the excess paper from the panel, mounted it on a gold metallic cardstock mat and used foam tape to glue it to a white card base.

Next I die cut the Butterfly outlines from black cardstock and the shadow pieces from yellow patterned paper and vellum.  I glued the butterfly outlines to the vellum, adhered them to the patterned cardstock and glued them to the card.

The word Hello was die cut from gold metallic cardstock, glued to a black cardstock shadow die cut and adhered to the center of the card.

To finish the card, I added gold metallic pearls to give it some shine.

I hope you have a great day!

  1. Love the card, especially the way you used the decorative paper. More reason to buy more of the MB paper pads.
