Pressure-emboss the trio of Decorative Ornaments instead of diecutting. Add a glittery red bird, heart and star to match the new Christmas Magic White Foil Label Tabs. Hi, Jean here with versatile new ornaments from our Joyful Season release. They’re decorated with diecuts from Celebration Balloons and Layered Birds.

Cut the Decorative Ornaments circles from medium-green and lime Greenery 6×6 cardstock. Spritz them with a light mist of water and pressure-emboss them with the detailed snowflakes, flourish and ribbed dies.
Cut 3 ornament caps and strings from the gold Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad 6×6. Attach the caps. Crease 1/4″ of the string backwards, apply some glue and let it set up a bit. Hook and adhere the 1/4″ behind the loop on the ornament cap. Trim the excess string at the top. It would have been smarter to keep the nice rounded top of the string and crease/trim/glue the bottom. I’ll remember that next tine!
Attach adhesive label paper or a sticker sheet to red wool-blend felt and cut the bird from the Layered Birds set. Cut the top layer from the red Festive Glitter Pad 6×6. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and keeps adhesives from saturating it.
Cut the Celebration Balloons heart and star from the red glittered 6×6. Trim the bottoms – so they won’t look like balloons!
Glue 2 layers of white cardstock together for dimension, then diecut it with the 3″ x 4.25″ Rectangle Basics die.
Attach the diecuts to a white A6 card (4-1/2″ x 6-1/4″). Trim the left edge of the peace/hearts/joy Christmas Magic White Foil Label Tab. Attach it to the card – use foam tape for the left side. Add red Christmas Fairy Dewdrops. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

A tip…not a major breakthrough, just a simple way to keep the greeting tabs together. Use washi tape (or removable tape) along the reverse side to keep them intact. Just pop a tab out when you’re ready to finish your card. Daub the exposed tape with a tissue so it’s not sticky.

Hope these little tips make life easier and save some time. Thanks for visiting our blog…see you on Friday!
